TriMega Launches TriMetrics

TriMega Purchasing Association is pleased to announce the launch of a new dealer benchmarking program called TriMetrics. The TriMetrics Program benchmarking program collects, compiles and analyzes relevant business data and operating metrics from TriMega members representing various business sizes across the country – all with extreme confidentiality – and serves it back to dealer participants in a concise and meaningful format.

TriMega just completed a beta test of TriMetrics with a sampling of dealers – allowing for fine tuning of the program for its full launch to TriMega’s membership. This new program from TriMega aims to help its members manage their business better and smarter through insights into powerful dealer metrics and robust benchmarking data.

"We firmly believe that information is power, so we’re thrilled to be unveiling a program which puts the powerful operational metrics and relevant business data in our members’ hands," remarked Charlie Cleary, President of TriMega. "TriMetrics has been built to help dealers examine key measurable such as how their growth rate stacks up against other competitors, or if their profitability is in line with the average. Questions like those, and others that keep our members awake at night, is what the TriMetrics will address," he stated.

Participating TriMega members will need to dedicate approximately 30 minutes each quarter to entering in their data in the TriMetrics website. When they do so, it is 100% anonymous. From sales to gross margins to payroll to receivables, TriMetrics will aggregate dealer data and present trending and benchmarking results which allow dealers to contrast their individual results against similarly sized dealers.

"We participated in the beta test of TriMetrics and were thoroughly impressed with the simplicity – it was very easy to enter in your data – and the value of TriMetrics," commented Kent Thomas of Thomas Business Center in Muncie, IN. "Like the old NOPA benchmarking reports, the reports that you’re able to access in TriMega’s TriMetrics program are very valuable for any dealer looking to improve their business. TriMetrics can help shine a light on areas where you might be missing the boat, or identify areas for improvement. We appreciate that TriMega has helped in putting relevant business metrics and insights into the dealer community," he said.

To encourage maximum participation in TriMetrics, only those members who report in a quarter can access the TriMetrics reports and view trending results. There is no cost to TriMega members to participate in TriMetrics. TriMega will conduct an informational webinar on the TriMetrics program 10:30am CST on November 30, 2012.
