TriMega Pays $7.4M in Q2 2009 Rebates to Members
TriMega announced today that it recently made another on-time quarterly distribution of rebates to its dealer members. The association distributed rebate checks for the second quarter of 2009, totaling $7.4M which represented an increase of $1.6M over the $5.8M paid out for the same period last year.This recent rebate distribution covered April 1 – June 30, 2009 purchase activity, including Q2 rebates from the Association’s TriSupply program with United Stationers & SP Richards. This recent payout brings the total rebates paid-to-date in 2009 to over $30M, while total rebates paid out in all of 2008 totaled a record $34.1M. With a one more rebate distribution scheduled this December, TriMega anticipates another record rebate year for the group and its members.
"It is absolutely outstanding to have the opportunity to make this contribution to our independent dealer members during a year like this,” remarked Charlie Cleary, President of TriMega. “Even taking all of the market challenges into account, we had projected that we would continue strong quarterly rebate distributions to members throughout 2009. To be able to deliver on those projections is a testament to our focus on true program value and dealer profitability. Of course, it is also a remarkable illustration of our members’ commitment to TriMega and our preferred suppliers,” he continued.
“With a growing membership of over 585 dealers strong, and new additions every week, now more than ever, we are able to impact that many more dealers businesses in a very real and meaningful way,” said Cleary. “This recent distribution represents an infusion of capital into the independent dealer community that is critical to their on-going competitiveness and ultimate success,” he concluded.
TriMega’s next cash rebate distribution is December 15, 2009 for Q3 2009 purchases.
